Submission deadline: 12/31/2014
Scope and purposes

Libraries all over the world are undergoing many changes. Despite the evolution of services which libraries have seen in recent years, library services will continue to change more, possibly at an even greater rate over the next decade than the last, given the current rate of technological advances and growth of information resources and devices. The librarians make a significant contribution to the library being a knowledge hub. Technological changes are resulting in a proliferation of information, new forms of media, and new means of accessing written material. Many of these changes have occurred rapidly and their consequences are hard to predict broadly across the society.

• Challenges of implementing technology, including deployment, training, upgrading • Re-orientation of Library Services in the Internet Age • Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Era • Books to Bytes : LIS Profession • Measuring Impact and Outcome of Libraries
