Scope and purposes
|
In sporting situations the variables related to the play are innumerable. Coaches are increasingly required to have performance data for individual athletes in order to be able to adopt the right training methods to improve both the performance of the individual athlete and the team as a whole. Moreover, such information becomes indispensable for the coach in choosing the tactics to be used in the various game situations that are emerging.

Scope and purposes
|
Racket sports games include the popular sports of tennis, squash, badminton, and table tennis. These sports are attractive at the competitive and recreational levels but the growth of sports science and the commercialization of racket sports in recent years have focused attention on improved performance and this has led to a more detailed study and understanding of all aspects of racket sports. Also, there is a confused many challenge owing to the physical demands of the game as well as the biomechanical analysis of players when performed some complex movements with rackets. In addition, racket sports requiring different training methods which could differ between elite players in different levels. Therefore, racket sports are of great interest to athletic trainers, sports researchers, physicians and strength and conditioning coaches.
