2012-presentPost Doctoral Fellow, Infectious Diseases, UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. I am working on apoptosis of Zygomycete fungus and Candida by manipulating various stress pathways to increase efficacy of antifungal drugs. I am also studying effect of metabolic syndrome (obesity and hyperglycemia) on mucormycosis in invertebrate model of Drosophila melanogaster.
2007-2010CSIR Senior Research Fellow, Biochemical Science Division, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. I worked on “Biochemical and molecular characterization of programmed cell death in dimorphic fungus Benjaminiella poitrasii’’.
