Nowadays, social and economic, national and spiritual transformation of Russia as a whole is determined by the economic and cultural potential of our society, created by the efforts of modern education focused on integration into the world educational space. At the background of modern environment, education content as a whole and professional in particular assume not only providing students with scientific and technical information, but also developing their social knowledge and skills, experience of creative activity, emotional-value attitude to the world and personality in it. Education is also supposed to develop the system of moral-ethical qualities that determine behavior of a person in various life situations (V. A. Slastenin, I. F. Isaev). Thus, education has the key role in revealing and developing personal potential of students, in this respect, being referred to as personality development or nurturing.

However, as a matter of actual practice, the role of nurturing in the system of higher professional education has been unfairly underestimated until recently, the process of personality development being completely depersonalized and formalized.

At the present day, the urgent need to revive educational system of personality development in tertiary educational establishments is actively discussed in pedagogical science and practice. Pedagogues consider the experience saved up by national science, as well as the most efficient under modern conditions innovative pedagogical ideas.
