Special Issue - Call for Papers
International Journal of Ecosystem
Soil and Climate change

Submission deadline: 10/15/2014

Scope and purposes

This special issue is focused on effect of climate changes on behavior of soil. Climate change is one of the challenging issues in engineering designs. For instance, the mechanical behavior of soil by itself is related to environment condition.

This special issue is well designed to address climate change matters in engineering design as well as earth sciences. The issue invites original research articles with theoretical, simulation, analytical and implementation of current climate change knowledge to improve the body of knowledge in this area. In addition to original research articles, critical review articles are also welcomed.

Topics of primary interest include, but are not limited to:
• Environmental issues and climate change
• Soil Mechanics and its behavior under different environmental condition
• Geo-Environmental issues
•  Climate change future and prospective
• Earth science
• Rainfall and hydrological effects on soil
• Ground water modelling with focus on soil medium
• Sustainable design considering climate change

Sustainable circumstances in the world’s Ecosystems

Submission deadline: 2013∕09∕15

Scope and purposes

The aim is to provide new approaches, recent research results regarding ecosystem conservation in relation with many factors such climate and forests destruction, biodiversity, endangered species, soil degradation, plant production, habitant and animal health which have been influenced by human activity. New directives, policy and strategy in order to prevent the degradation of Ecosystems all around the world. Ecosystem monitoring, practical and functional needs to produce works that are beautiful and kind to the earth.

Topics of primary interest include, but are not limited to:
• biology, ecology and control possibilities of weeds (e.g. with special regards to invasive alien species, IAS)
• Testing and developing a cost saving and environment friendly recommendation system
• Environmental factors limiting the presence of species in a community (macroclimate, native rock, soil and plant association, latest research statistics about endangered species
• Effect of industrial and economical situation on ecosystems (e.g. case studies)
• New strategies and rules in ecosystem protection, promising alternatives
• Ecosystem monitoring, climate and forests destruction, turn into desert, cause and effect…
