Applications are requested from interested candidates for a full-time positions at Lagoon Hospitals, a JCI Accredited Facility.
Our hospital is highly specialized in orthopedics & Trauma, General Surgery, Critical Care, Medical & Surgical Oncology, Urology, Cardiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Pediatrics, acute care and emergency medicine.
The Paediatric Department has a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 2 neonatal ventilators capable of ventilating babies as low as 500gm. The NICU is a 6 bed unit with a 6 bed Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). There is an in-patient facility for older children and Paediatric Intensive Care unit (PICU) in a different wing of the Hospitals.
Consultant Paediatrician

Applicants must possess a Fellowship or its equivalent in Paediatrics and have a minimum of 5 years’ post board/fellowship experience. |

Neonatal intensive care skills/certification will also be an added advantage. |

Full registration and affiliation with relevant bodies with current licenses. |

Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team is highly essential. |

Consultant Neonatologist

Applicants must be Qualified Specialist in neonatal emergency medicine and neonatal-perinatal medicine for a minimum of 5 years. |

Consultants mush have some experience in neonatal emergency administrative issues. Completion of Specialized training and experience in neonatal transport. |

Specialist must have worked in neonatal transport either extramural or intramural transfer during NICU experience. PHD or Fellowship. |

Neonatal intensive care skills/certification will also be an added advantage |

Full registration and affiliation with relevant bodies with current licenses. |

Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team is highly essential. |
